Effective Immediately – Alcohol Sales Canceled at Bars – Emergency Order 2020-09
Due to a dramatic spike in COVID-19 cases in the state of Florida, Halsey Beshears, Secretary of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, has suspended all sales of alcohol for on-site consumption at all bars throughout the state.
- All bars and pubs shall immediately suspend sales of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.
- They may continue to sell sealed containers of alcohol for consumption off-site.
- Restaurants may continue to sell alcohol for consumption on premises.
